There's a maximum of 14 participants in one group. We want to keep the groups small, so it's easier to open up and build connections.

This retreat is suitable for you as a beginner in Yoga and Breathwork, and we are happy to introduce you to it. Many participants have never done yoga or breathwork before in our retreats, so this is not a problem. The only thing you should bring is to be open and motivated to learn.

Our yoga classes and breathwork sessions are only open for our staying guests. We have NO drop-in classes. This is important for us to create a safe space and an intimate group atmosphere as we go through a deep transformational journey during the eight days together.

We only operate as a retreat centre, so we are only open for our retreats. If you want to arrive earlier or stay longer, we can recommend places close by or in different areas.

Most of our retreat participants are solo travellers, though, so please don't worry about coming here alone.

There are several ways to go from Colombo to Green Peace Inn. You can come here by bus or train from Colombo Fort Station to Weligama Station, as public transportation works quite well here. We are also happy to organise a taxi transfer from Colombo to Green Peace Inn (costs around 95 €). Please send us your flight details (arrival date, time, and flight number) to book a transfer.

Yes, it is safe to travel to Sri Lanka. Locals are happy that tourists are coming back. You get food and everything you need for daily living, and you can travel easily by public transportation. We still have some power cuts from time to time but primarily for one hour a day.

We are happy you want to be part of the Green Peace Inn during your retreat. To get the full experience from the retreat, it is helpful to be as least distracted as possible. Our retreats are a place where you should entirely focus on yourself - your mind, your body and your emotions. Therefore, it's not possible to support us in the tasks as part of the service team. We hope you understand. But if paying the full amount is a problem for you, please talk to us. We can find a solution.

The retreat starts with a welcome drink, snack, and gathering at 3 pm on the day of arrival, and check-in is between 1 and 2 pm. Check-out is after brunch at 12 am on the date of departure.

We provide all the yoga equipment (yoga mats, blocks and bolsters). Bring clothes which you feel comfortable in: Sport clothes for the yoga and breathwork and clothes you would wear on a beautiful sunny day on your balcony or terrace. For the evening you might need a scarf or long sleeve to feel more cozy.
Please make sure to bring enough clothes for all the 8 days, as we don’t offer laundry service.Please also bring your shower and bathroom essentials (shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste etc.)
