In this special retreat, we focus on returning to a state of balance on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and energetic. Through embracing the wholesome slow life and diving deep into the practises of yoga and meditation, the space for healing and rebalancing arises.

Imagine: Less stress, more relaxation; Less thinking, more feeling; Less distance, more connection; Less seriousness, more fun!

This journey will take you on a deep exploration into the very way you move in fun and interesting ways, deepening the understanding of your yoga practise and yourself.
Each class is different, but always a safe, functional and accessible form of yoga, to maximise the positive effects of the practise on body, mind and spirit. Our morning classes offer a more dynamic practise, while evening classes are slower paced and of a more restorative nature.

Alongside the movement practise, we will dive into the world of meditation. Bringing understanding and technique to the practise, we will focus on both experiencing and learning how to meditate. Leaving you with this invaluable tool to take with you into life beyond our week together.

Beyond the daily schedule of yoga, meditation, workshops and special offerings, there will be plenty of time to simply relax, reflect, read, go for a surf or other optional activities.

Bringing it all together is the infamous Green Peace Inn kitchen! We’re passionate about nutrition, and believe nourishing food plays a very important role in the journey to balance, health and happiness. For this, we serve delicious healthy plant based meals, all prepared by us with love and local produce!

Please note: No previous experience in yoga and meditation is required. We welcome both those new to yoga and meditation, and also those who have an established practice and want to deepen their understanding.

*Workshops are optional and will vary daily, covering topics such as yoga, asana, meditation, art & creativity, communication, dance and much more! Timing will vary depending on the daily schedule & topic.

The retreat begins with a welcome drink & snack and gathering at 4pm on the day of arrival and ends after breakfast at 12pm on the date of departure.

About Clare & Jane

 

Who are we?

The story of us goes something like this:

We were studying together in Rishikesh, India, and ended up bonding over our mutual love of alignment based yoga, meaningful conversations and Indian food! The beginning of a beautiful friendship that has now taken us from adventures through India, to further study and training with incredible teachers such as Simon Borg-Olivier and working together on Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Australia, Indonesia and Sri Lanka with Stefan Camilleri Yoga.
We compliment each other perfectly, with Jane bringing some of that German fire and fun, and Clare keeping it calm and grounded!
From the very beginning we dreamed of bringing together our knowledge, experience and hearts to hold a retreat. Teaming up with beautiful friends Martina and Alex of Green Peace Inn and this dream has come alive!

So, it is from our shared passion for inspiring health, happiness and connection in others through the practises of yoga and meditation, that we offer this retreat to you.
We truly want you to live your best life, and our personal intention is to help you create that.


Clare

An Aussie adventurer, Clare is a devoted student of yoga, movement and meditation. For her, these practises have facilitated a path of self discovery and self expression, igniting her passion for sharing and teaching. Clare’s classes invite you to explore the subtleties of body and mind, unlocking free and joyful expression from within. Her focus on guiding a safe, functional and accessible practise allows you to let go, to simply feel and experience. She loves connecting the practise on the mat, to everyday life, helping you to become more present, connected and loving as a human – becoming ‘better’ at life! Learn more about Clare here.

Jane

German-born, Jane is a bundle of light and energy. She loves sharing her positive vibes and passion for yoga with others, to see students glow and feel at home within themselves. Her aim as a teacher is to inspire students to find joy and expression through movement, intelligent alignment, and union between the body and mind. And of course to put a smile on their faces!
